No, not in the psychometric or clinical sense. EPIC PERSONA® is an action-analysis tool, informed by themes from the sociology of organizations (actor logics, constraints, zones of uncertainty, power) and made easier to grasp through a narrative form (herotypes).

It is not a diagnosis or a clinical measurement. The aim of the test is operational: to produce a useful reading in real life (“Does this shed light on my decisions and my frictions?”). We document our principles and our limits, and we improve the tool iteratively.

A herotype is an operational function a person tends to take on when something is at stake. It is not an identity.

You may answer in an “ideal” way rather than a “real” way, as with any test. The questions are designed to limit that effect by working with concrete dilemmas.

You can always try. But “gaming it” often produces a less coherent result and therefore a less useful one. The best way to use it is to answer spontaneously so the result explains how you really act, not how you would like to be perceived.

The core logic is often fairly stable because it draws on reflexes we have been building since childhood.

Two common cases: 1) you answered in an “aspirational” way rather than a “real” one; 2) you are in an unusual context (fatigue, conflict, a constrained role). The result should open a discussion: “When is this true / when is it false?” and “In what contexts?” To avoid this pitfall, try to imagine an action context that constrains you as little as possible. EPIC PERSONA® training programs, with a certified facilitator present, can help clarify your herotype.

No. Each herotype has its own logic, strengths, and risks. The useful question is: in what context is my herotype a strength, and what rules help prevent drift?

Yes. You can request deletion of your data at any time: your test answers, results/scoring, and the information provided to send the report (first name, last name, email). We use this data only to deliver the requested service (generate and send your report and, if you buy it, grant access to the premium report). For security and abuse prevention, we also keep limited technical metadata, including the IP address associated with OTP code requests. Payments are processed by Stripe: we do not have access to your card data and do not store it; some transaction-related information may nonetheless be retained by Stripe and/or by us when required by law (for example, accounting or tax obligations). To exercise your right to erasure, contact us using the method indicated on the site; deletion is carried out within the legal time limits, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Yes, if the framework is clear: consent from all parties, an explicit purpose (cooperation, team diagnosis, working rules), and non-punitive feedback.

EPIC PERSONA® is not designed to “screen” people as an automatic filter. If there is a legitimate use, it is contextual (role, constraints, ways of working together) and always framed ethically.

It helps name protected priorities (what really matters), predictable frictions (where things get stuck), and forms of regulation (simple rules that prevent interpersonal conflict).

Yes. you can take the EPIC PERSONA® assessement several times, if you have an account all your results will be logged.
