As of the date of this version, the service may use or contemplate the following categories:

• technical identifiers necessary to resume or maintain continuity of a user journey;
• security or anti-abuse mechanisms.

B. Preferences

• storage of certain interface preferences, for example the display theme.

C. Audience measurement and user journey

• EPIC PERSONA® does not currently use such trackers
• Example under consideration: an audience measurement tool such as Matomo.
• Example under consideration: a user journey analysis tool such as Hotjar.

D. Marketing / retargeting

• EPIC PERSONA® does not currently use such trackers
• These trackers must not be placed before consent is obtained where consent is required.

5. Consent

Where consent is required, EPIC PERSONA® obtains that consent before any placement or reading of the relevant trackers.

Consent must be:

• freely given;
• specific;
• informed;
• unambiguous.

Refusing must be as easy as accepting.

No pre-ticked boxes or misleading presentation may be used.

6. Withdrawal of consent

You must be able to withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.

Permanent link or button for cookie management: In the absence of non-exempt trackers, EPIC PERSONA® has not had to implement a refusal button at this stage; such a button will be implemented if we later consider placing additional trackers that fall within this scope

The lifespan of cookies and the retention period for the consent choice must remain limited and consistent with their purpose.
